BSG HandCraft is seeking to fill the position of Sales Manager-Midwest. Our current Midwest Sales Manager will be transitioning to the new role of HandCraft Marketing Manager. The position is intended to be filled by October 1, 2014. The role of the Sales Manager-Midwest is to build customer relationships and generate sales for all products in the BSG HandCraft Division product portfolio.
BSG HandCraft is an industry leader that distributes ingredients and equipment to Home Beer and Home Wine Making retail shops. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and self-starting. He/she must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with support personnel and a diverse customer base. The candidate should have a strong understanding and familiarity with the home beer and wine making process. This is a dynamic position, and it requires an individual who is dedicated, goal oriented, a team player, and committed to successfully growing sales within the territory. This is a demanding role and it will require extensive overnight travel.
The position will require frequent customer contact in the form of phone calls, store visits, trade show participation, and follow-up. It will also involve creating sales projections and meeting those goals. Time management, organization skills, prioritizing, communication and willingness to travel are critical to this role.
